Fate is not always as fixed as fear would like to believe. There are seasons when choice reenters the room.
This line matters because it interrupts passivity. Shakespeare does not promise control over everything, only responsibility for the portion that is actually yours to govern.
Its endurance comes from proportion. Human limits are real, but so is human agency.
