Gill's Exposition
And his host, &c. That is, the host of Benjamin: and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred. 35,400 men. The least number
of all the tribes, excepting the tribe of Manasseh, Num 2:21 ; see Num 1:37 .
