in different quarters; this opened their eyes to a sense of their sins, the cause of it, and brought them to a confession of them: saying, we have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim; had been guilty not only of sins of omission, neglecting the pure of God, but also of sins of commission, even gross idolatry, in serving Baalim, and other gods, before mentioned.
