Genesis 39:15
"And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out."

Commentary

Gill's Exposition

And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried,.... He attempting to ravish her, as she would have it understood, but afraid, lest

upon her outcry those that were in the house should come in to her assistance, and seize on him: that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out: but why should he strip himself of his garment, and leave that behind him? he might have fled with it.
