The children of Dishon are these,.... The last of the seven sons of Seir, and who had two sons: Uz and Aran; from the former of these the land of
Uz, inhabited by the Edomites, had its name, Lam 4:21 ; some have taken this to be the country of Job, Job 1:1 .
