He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as the Lord commanded Moses.

And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Commentary

And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congr egation,.... Of which see Exo 40:6 . and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; either the burnt offering the meat offering of the daily sacrifice, as Jarchi interprets it, see Exo 28:38 or it may be rather the burnt offering and meat offering of the consecration of Aaron and his sons, Exo 29:1 . as the Lord commanded Moses; in the places referred to.
