He did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord; he did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin; but he walked therein.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein.

Commentary

And he did that which was ev il in the sight of the Lord,.... As his father did, and his character is described in the same words, see Kg2 13:2 .
