Then you will prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the ordinances which the Lord gave Moses concerning Israel. Be strong, and courageous. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed.

Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

Commentary

Then shall thou prosper, if thou takes t heed to fulfil the statutes,.... See Kg1 2:2 where the same things are said as here: which shows that this was spoken by David a little before his death.
